Yes, I was surprised by that one too. If you'd asked me who won what when, I'd have said RWD econoboxes, then Stratos, then Quattro & other Group B mental machines. Go figure.

It really was, they dumbed the cars down for sure. Safety is important but it was so cool, I think with todays materials they could build a safer, faster rally car again. Expensive though.

Yeah, I looked at that first. I thought a few more at least. Toyota Celica was impressive. And with the same thought, Mitsubishi has was more than Subaru. Everyone thinks of Subaru. Sure they probably came in second or something, we have to consider that many of these cas we think of did probably come in second or something.
